Retreats
Come for Days. Leave Transformed.
Stay at the ashram, receive one offering per day, and let the sacred geography of the Sangam do the rest.
A ShantiLokha retreat is not what you might expect. There's no packed schedule, no performance, no achievement metrics, no graduation.
You arrive. You settle into your room. You eat wholesome food. You receive one offering each morning — a meditation, a Sanskrit lesson, a yoga session, or a guided visit to a sacred site. The rest of the time is yours.
This is the ashram way — radical in its simplicity. It works because the place holds tremendous energy, and when you slow down enough, that energy begins to work on you. We recommend two weeks; the first few days are just landing.

Is This for You?
This is for you if
- You're a spiritual seeker looking for depth, not entertainment
- You want to experience yoga at its source
- You're on pilgrimage or travelling sacred India
- You're a teacher scouting a venue for your own groups
- You feel called to slow down in a genuinely sacred space
- You want to contribute, not just consume
This may not be a fit if
- You want luxury accommodation or resort amenities
- You expect a packed retreat schedule
For Teachers & Leaders
Bringing a Group?
We welcome yoga teachers and retreat leaders who want to host their own programs at ShantiLokha. You bring your students and your teaching — we provide the space, meals, logistics, and welcome experience.
Choose your own dates and tell us how long you need. A group takes the whole place for that time, so the house runs to your programme rather than around it, and your room as facilitator is complimentary.
Still Deciding?
We'll Help You Choose
Each retreat is its own experience. If you're not sure which is right for you — or if you have questions about timing, dates, or the rhythm of ashram life — reach out. We'll talk it through.
