Sanskrit is not a dead language. In Prayagraj, it is still spoken, still chanted, still alive in the morning prayers that echo across the ashram compound. This retreat invites you into that living tradition.

Your teacher is Panditji — a Brahmin scholar from the ashram lineage who teaches not from textbooks but from devotion. Lessons are intimate, conversational, and adapted to your level. Whether you've never seen a Devanagari letter or you're deepening an existing practice, the teaching meets you where you are.

Outside of lessons, the retreat follows the same ashram rhythm as our immersion — meals, meditation, silence, and the river. The Sanskrit begins to weave itself into everything. You start hearing it in the chants. You start seeing it on the temple walls. The language becomes a doorway.
