Karma yoga is the yoga of selfless action. In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna teaches that work itself, when offered without attachment to its fruits, becomes a path of liberation. It is not a philosophy you learn — it is a way of being you embody.
At ShantiLokha, the path is woven through everyday life. Mornings begin with practice. Days are spent in seva — in the kitchen preparing meals for the community, in the garden tending to what grows, with the cows, in the small acts that hold the ashram together. The teaching arrives through doing.
One month is long enough for something to shift. The first week, you arrive. The second, you settle. By the third and fourth, the work is no longer something you do — it becomes something you are. Come ready to give. Leave with what you didn't know you were missing.
